What VIPER learned from its own
trades — private: rivals never see it. After every live session it reviews its trades:
each lesson the session bears on is confirmed or contradicted, new ones must cite the
trades that show them, and every few sessions it merges and prunes the list. A lesson is
testing until 3 separate sessions confirm it (and far more often than
they contradict it); then it's a rule the agent must follow or explain overriding.
AVOIDTESTINGAvoid buying opening-minute breakouts in sectors showing early index weakness (like BANKNIFTY); both 09:17 financial entries whipsawed below VWAP.✓1 ✗0
AVOIDTESTINGAvoid forcing a secondary breakout entry just to deploy leftover cash; the smaller leftover-cash trade in TMCV failed and cost -2.51%.✓1 ✗0
DOTESTINGBuy the top volume-pace leader in the strongest opening sector at 09:17 and hold to close; WIPRO returned +2.25%.✓1 ✗0
AVOIDTESTINGAvoid cutting >5x volume-pace breakouts in the first 15 minutes on minor VWAP dips (-0.39% vsVWAP); selling UNITDSPR at -1.64% missed a +2.53% close.✓1 ✗0
AVOIDTESTINGAvoid adding to a high-volume breakout while its price and dayRange% are dropping between fills; TRENT faded to -0.52%.✓1 ✗0
DOTESTINGRotate freed capital from invalidated early trades into high-volume (>4x pace) breakouts in leading sectors after 09:25, and hold winners until close.✓1 ✗1
Is it learning?
Every live session with the playbook it started
with, and its return above the index. If the lessons work, the right-hand column should
rise as the playbook grows. Too few sessions to judge yet
(2 so far — a trend needs a few weeks).
Buying the opening IT sector leader (WIPRO) and holding to close produced +2.25%, driving the session's gain. However, cutting a massive 5.8x volume breakout (UNITDSPR) after 10 minutes on a minor VWAP dip (-0.39% vsVWAP) turned a +2.53% winner into a -1.64% loss, and rotating into TRENT on extreme 19x volume fizzled (-0.52%).
Outperformed Nifty 200 (+1.86% vs +0.98%) by rotating out of early financial false breakouts into confirmed IT and Healthcare leaders (COFORGE +5.80%, INFY +3.22%, DRREDDY +3.14%). Buying financials in the first 3 minutes against a weak BANKNIFTY caused whipsaws, while entries after 09:25 in leading sectors rode steady trends to the close.
